Our Terms & Conditions



All Used & More customers that “want to sell on consignment basis” must first register their details on our website www.usednmore.com and this by pressing on the "Want to sell on consignment basis?" button (could be found at the top of our website). Upon doing so, any customer shall be able to provide details of the item (s) he or she wants to sell and also shall be able to download the photos for our review and approval. Also, once registered, the customer that wants to sell on consignment basis shall receive an email intimation with the username and password for access and remembrance and shall be able to track and review the status of his or her submission on the dashboard that will appear on our website once logged in.

 

Once we receive any genuine submission, the customer shall be intimated by email of our decision: either we shall agree to display any such item (s) in our warehouse and our website or we shall reject the submission due to not being able to satisfy such a submission.

 

In the case that we come to agree, the customer shall bear all expenses to deliver the item (s) to our warehouse in Nadd Al Hamar and only upon quality inspection and satisfaction shall we accept to display such an item (s). All customers that “want to sell on consignment basis” in our warehouse must provide a valid copy of their Emirates ID and a valid UAE mobile number. No other types of documents shall be accepted.   

 

 

Here are the “Want to sell on consignment basis?” general terms and conditions:

 

1) Customer must register and accept our "Want to sell on consignment basis?" terms & conditions on our website first in order for us to review and accept any item (s) that he or she wants to sell on consignment basis. 

 

2) Upon our approval, the customer shall deliver the item (s) to our warehouse for our quality and performance check, at his / her own risk and cost.

 

3) Only after our quality control and satisfaction shall we accept the item (s). If we do not accept the quality or performance of any item (s), the customer shall take back all such item (s) at his / her own cost with no liability on the part of Used & More.

 

4) Any accepted item (s) shall be displayed in our warehouse and on our website for one week only (excluding any holidays that shall fall during such a week). If the item (s) is (are) not sold within the one week time frame, then the customer shall have the freedom to either accept our Used & More purchase rate (if there is interest from our end) or take back the item (s) within three days from the date of intimation by email or the customer could accept to reduce the price of the item (s) by a certain amount and this based on a certain timing as per the available function on our website (appearing on the dashboard once registered). If the item (s) is (are) still not sold after using this price reduction function on our website, then the customer shall take back the item (s) within three days from the date of intimation by email.

 

5) If the one week time frame goes by and the consigned item (s) is (are) not sold or taken back within the three days after intimation (including items where the rate has been reduced but not sold after a specific time frame), we shall charge a fee of 50 AED per day and per item for space allocation. If the item remains in our warehouse for more than one month without anyone claiming it or without anyone answering our calls or messages or emails, then the item (s) shall become the property of Used & More and the customer shall lose all legal rights concerning such an item (s).

 

6) Upon the selling of any item, Used & More shall be entitled to a 20 % profit margin on any sale due to the service that is provided. The customer shall agree to this condition prior to consigning any item (s).

 

7) For any electronic or appliance product, the customer shall accept to be paid one week after we sell such an item due to the need to offer our Used & More customers a one week exchange warranty shall any product not function correctly and if any such defective product is returned back, the customer that consigned the item in our warehouse shall be intimidated to take back this item with no liability on Used & More’s part. Upon initiation, if such a defective item is not collected by the concerned customer within one month from the date of intimation by email, then Used & More shall reserve the right to scrap such an item and such a customer shall have no legal rights or legal claims thereafter.

 

 

Concerning the "Want to Sell?" button:

 

All Used & More customers that want to sell any item must first register their details on our website www.usednmore.com and this by pressing on the "Want to Sell?" button (could be found at the top of our website). Upon doing so, any customer shall be able to provide details of the item he or she wants to sell and also shall be able to download the photos for our review and approval. Also, once registered, the customer that wants to sell shall receive an email intimation with the username and password for access and remembrance and shall be able to track and review the status of his or her submission on the dashboard that will appear on our website. 

 

Once we receive any genuine submission, the customer shall be intimated with our decision: either we shall offer our rate to purchase the item or we shall reject the submission due to not being able to satisfy such a submission. In the case that we come to agree on a certain purchase rate, the customer shall bear all expenses to deliver the item to our warehouse in Nadd Al Hamar and only upon quality inspection and satisfaction shall we pay such a customer by cash. All customers that sell us directly in our warehouse must provide a valid copy of their Emirates ID and a valid UAE mobile number. No other types of documents shall be accepted.  

 

 

Concerning the "Reserve" button:

 

Any customer that accepts our terms and conditions and then presses on the "Reserve" button once registered and logged in shall receive the following message in his / her registered email:

 

Thank you for being a registered member of Used & More.

 

We have presently reserved this item as per your request.

 

This item shall be reserved especially for you for the coming 48 hours only (time beginning from the reception time of this message).

 

This item should be collected during the 48 hours reservation time frame.

 

The 48 hours reservation time frame excludes Friday and /or any public holidays.

 

Shall the 48 hours deadline end without this item being purchased by you, the reservation period shall end and the product shall be sold on a first come first pay basis.

 

Please note that the procedures that concern the Reservation button are part of our website terms and conditions and are part of our general sales policy as well.

Concerning the "Interested" button:

 

Any customer that accepts our terms and conditions and then presses on the "Interested" button once registered and logged in shall receive the following message in his / her registered email:

Please note that this item is either reserved or sold at this point.

 

In the case that this item is reserved and not purchased within the 48 hours reservation time frame, you shall be contacted so that you can finalize the purchase in this case.

 

If you are not contacted within the next 48 hours, you may consider that this item is sold.

 

The 48 hours reservation time frame excludes Friday and /or any public holidays.

 

If this item is already sold and since you are showing interest in this item, we shall intimate you once a similar item is available in our store so that you may come and finalize the purchase.

Concerning the "Register" button:

 

Any customer can register by clicking on the "Register" button. This will allow for submission of any item for sell. Also, this will allow us to track our customers and communicate with them and also to advertise any new arrivals.

 

After registration, it is possible to login directly by using the username and password as received in the email.

 

 

Concerning our "Newsletter" option:

 

Any customer can enter his or her email details in our "Newsletter" bar in order to receive what our latest information or offers. It is to be noted that our newsletters shall be free from spam or any sorts of advertisements.

 

 

Website misuse or abuse:

 

We reserve the right to www.usednmore.com to delete the account of any registered member due to any misuse or abuse of our website or of our policies or our terms and conditions. Any major offence or abuse might also be reported to the local authorities for further investigations and possible further action.
